A home defense action in St. Louis succeeded on September 21st, the sheriff backed down, citing “public pressure” for not serving the eviction order against homeowner Angelia Williams.
While a small, but important victory, the fight isn’t yet over, Wells Fargo and FHA still have not agreed to a loan modification, despite pressure from Angelia, her neighbors, and community activists on Wells Fargo and the state Attorney General’s office.
