What Adults Should Learn From Children

Learning how to make customized shirts is easy whether for home use or small business. Teaching your children these kinds of knowledge and skills will ultimately help them as they grow and mature.  However, little did we know that there are significant things that we too can pick up from our children.

According to John Rooney, “The quickest way to become an old dog is to stop learning new tricks.” Learning and relearning things make our children better. So why don’t we adults make the best of ourselves by not ceasing to learn even from our children.

Children can be passionate about so many things whether significant or not, even in playing online games. If we adults can be passionate about minor things, then why can’t we also be enthusiastic about the things that really matter like running your business well?

“Passion is what drives us crazy, what makes us do extraordinary things, to discover, to challenge ourselves. Passion is and should always be the heart of courage.” – Midori Komatsu

Children have friends that they can trust and treasure since they share a mutual bond. Just like our children, whether at home or at work, be around the right individuals whom you can put your trust on and rely on for support to assist you in your daily undertakings.

“With the right people, culture, and values, you can accomplish great things.” – Tricia Griffith

Through the course of the day, children tend to be happy and find joy even with the smallest or simplest things. Evaluate your day, when are you most happy? Do you easily get irritated or annoyed? Make an effort to be at your happiest whether you are at home with your family or running your business since you will be very efficient, productive, and will get work done with ease.

“Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.” – Denis Waitley

It’s no wonder children are so happy all the time. They always seem to have a good laugh. When was the last time you had a good laugh? When things get out of hand, laugh it off it will lift your spirit and eventually make you look at the brighter side.

“I never would have made it if I could not have laughed. It lifted me momentarily out of this horrible situation, just enough to make it livable.” — Viktor Frankl
